the headlights look stupid because they dont flow, they aim up to the edges as where the car is a sportier two door.

Now I'm telling you, bring that Aussie Falcon here to the states with that 5.4 and watch em fly off the floor. Guarantee sales numbers in 2 months would trounce GTO numbers for a full year.

Who cares about the 300, it's the Camry and Accord that are killing us.

My feeling on this is that it'll be a cold day in Lucifer's world when we convince the general Accord or Camry buyer to purchase Ford. The vast majority of these people are frugal, conservative, and of the mindset that a car is a car. They want a reliable object to get them from point A to B. I take note on the road and the typical Camry driver is ULTRA conservative and loves bland, boring vehicles that are reliable. Reliability is a reality with Toyota. Same thing with Honda. I'm not sure Ford or any other American company will win back many of those people at this point, unless of course those folks begin to slip.

That's the exact point I have been trying to make in other threads, but for some reason they seem convinced that they buy the Camrys and Accords because the Shelby GT500 has a SRA. Why can't Ford make a reliable mid-size sedan, I hope the Fusion can make a dent. The Five Hundred definitely has the bland styling part down.

Yep, it really just has to do with the reliability of the vehicle and the US manufacturers haven't quite caught up yet. One problem though is that because Hondas and Toyotas tend to hold up very well for 10+ years even if the US manufacturers do catch up it'll take 10+ years for everyone to be convinced.
