Lol ... me too!I think a coupe would be about $20-$25k in great shape with low mileage.
I agree. The convertible I tested was in good condition (some rock chips, no dings, all original, interior had one minor issue) and the ask was $24k I believe.

I'd love me one of them ...
Yeah, FromZto5, this is a good idea too. Going along with my recommendation not to get the same as another toy, I think you should have a clear picture of what you would do with the second toy. Like if it's just to look pretty or go to car shows, that's different than a track toy or road trip cruiser -- and recommendations would be different.
I have my S2000 for occasional track days and perfect weather days for example. My Mustang is for cruising, car shows, and some daily driving. I feel like I get more for my money this way because they cover different applications. If I got another toy it would be either for drag racing or off roading, just something different than the above.
Don't forget you have to insure the new car too. My family has two appliance vehicles and two toys and I'm always thinking about whether they're worth the extra insurance.

My vote is Mach 1. I've owned two, and currently have a third for my son. Great cars, great brakes suspension etc for that era and plus, it's Mach 1 mustang after all!
Unless you can find a well kept 88 rx7 lol, had one of those two and it was a blast with the 13b rotary and turbo.

Dont know if you have made up your mind yet, but I'll toss out 3 cars for you.
1. Vette, 2. Shelby Cobra Replica. I was liking that one 3. Jeep Wrangler and do some off-roading in Colorado and Utah: Moab, White Rim trail, Hells Revenge.

Yes, I have to pay extra insurance ugh. I know. It will suck, but hey, that's how it's gotta be.
As for the classic route, I thought about that too...maybe a nicely restored 66 or 67 someday. But I dunno, I'm still too much into the "new" stuff. Maybe it's just me.

I had a 93 RX7 at one point! So I know all about Mazdas too. I loved it. Wish I still had it.
Good points on the Mach 1. I found one that was relatively "new", with very low miles. Are they more rare than an SVT Cobra of the same gen?

Gabe...nice, but I can find a tastefully and reliably modded 03/04 for the same price. In your opinion, which would you get? stock or modded for same price? Hmmm... if I got a cobra, I'd mod it for sure. So I'm leaning towards the modded one. What say you guys?

Vette is an option... but if I did, maybe a Grand Sport C6. C7 would definitely be an option too, but we will see. They are still way over 30k though right?
Also, that doesn't help me out because why would I want a 13/14 to replace my 12? LOL... it wasn't one of the options
Yeah, I realized i was spending a lot of money for something that I didn't drive much....traded it in on a base Ford Escape...needed something a little more functional....someone is going to get a VERY pampered GT in mint condition with some mods already complete.

Holy cow. I don't know whether to congratulate you, or.... lol.
I don't drive my car much at ALL! but when I do, it delights me like no other vehicle I owned before did.
That being said, I know each one of us is different and we all have our reasons. I'm sure the decision you made had the factors you alone would know.
Here you go......13k miles....they also have a silver one with 15k miles....they also have a lot of 96 Corvettes with very low miles in the $17k range....
