It is not Japanese, but close. This company never imported this model here, but does still import cars here.

86 Hyundai Pony. My best friend had one when I lived in Central America. Makes a Ranchero or El Camino seem like a heavy duty hauler. Your up.

I thought Pony was available in the USA. I read somewhere that they entered the USA market back in 1986 along with Yugo.

Anyway ...
