Nizpro of Australia have taken the 4 litre straight 6 motor from the standard Ford Falcon XR6 and are claiming some big numbers after one of their tunes.

Package one looks like a match for a stock XR6 Turbo!

I wonder if it's for real and what the cost is.

BA Falcon N/A Tuning Packages
It's here! A naturally aspirated alternative. We've been playing with the Naturally Aspirated BA Falcon and through extensive testing we now offer the following packages:

Package 1

• Extractors
• Nizpro Camshafts
• Nizpro valve springs
• NiZedit tune

Performance:

• 451 Nm @ 4870 rpm (332lb-ft)
• 240kW @ 6010 rpm (322hp)

Still want more?
Through further testing, using upgraded injectors and utilising one of our Cobra Inlet Manifolds, the figure jumps to an impressive 273kW.

Package 2 (same as package 1 plus)

• Upgrade Injectors
• Cobra Inlet Manifold

Performance:

• 270+kW (360hp+)

That's a massive 50% power increase and more than the turbocharged variant!

I wonder if the Mustang's V6 could be capable of putting out something similar.
Much more power than a 2005 GT and almost as much torque! :nono:

With the DOHC/4-valve heads that were on the Cosworth version of the Scorpio in Europe it is believable. With just 2.9L of displcement that car made over 200hp back when 200+hp out of a 2.9L V-6 was a very big deal. The heads are fantastic with large/clean ports, and another 1.1L (67ci) of displacement could only help matters.

That's just it... it's all about CO$T. With enough money, you can buy almost anything.

You take wrong! Cosworth is a British company that was the European version of SVT in the 80's and 90's

See the following link to the Mighty Cosworth's site
