The nissan didn't have a hope in hell of beating the lambo or the mclaren. Those two cars are simply the best you can get at this point in time and I'll wager that the mclaren will be the best for some time to come.

Definitely liked the Lambo wail the best, and its a big exotic V12 at 6.3 liters, just love the throttle response you can get with the lighter V12 cranks (90 degree V8 cranks need a lot of heavy counterweighting). I'd rate the McLaren #2 in the music department with the two big American V8s pretty much tied at third with the Merc close by too. The two Japanese cars were pretty soulless as was, surprisingly, the Porsche (they do have an optional sport exhaust which I'm guessing wasn't on this one).
I'm surprised the Stang and Camaro didn't do a bit better, what with the Stang's 650+ hp -- thought it would take Godzilla -- and the Camaro got beat out by the "only" 400hp Porsche.

However, in the real world, isn't the GTR's superior acceleration the more accessible/useable? Yeah, I'm impressed as anyone at the GT500s 650+hp, mighty impressed, but in reality, isn't that sort of power and performance getting kind of abstract for the real world driver?
Presumably, the 2015/16/whenever it comes out GT500 varient will concentrate less on uber power numbers and more on weight and drag reduction and better dynamics that would yield better real world fun and performance rather than just stunning bench/track racing numbers.
