I found this over at svtperformance.com. Sounds like a pretty sweet alternative to the Corvette..................and CHEAPER too!

Looks cool to me, I like the original Sky too. How heavy would that front end be going from an Ecotec 4 to a 6.0L LS2 though? The car itself has to be pretty light to start with, there would have to be some SERIOUS suspension work done, so much so that the ride could only be so good. Or am I way off base here?

That's going to be one tight squeeze. I don't know how they are going to squeeze that engine in without major tweaking

Better looking IMO also. Though I don't know how well it will sell with Saturn badging. Some people will buy a car just for the name itself.

The weight distribution will get thrown way off on that car with that engine up front. 400 hp is great and all, but you would be sacrificing a lot in handling. Perhaps a s/c V6 making close to 300 hp would be better at keeping the car more balanced.

True indeed. That's why the Corvette sells so well. However, I'll give you 400 reasons why an under $40K Solstice/Sky would sell just as well or if not even better.![Biggrinjester](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrinjester.gif)

Mazda sales will be affected. Given the choice I think most would choose the Solstice.
