We can only hope! As I have stated in previous posts I wouldn't mind seeing Ford sell the Jaguar F1 team to Red Bull (still to use Ford/Cosworth power) and take some of the money to go back to Le Mans.

I doubt that would happen since Ford is in bed with the Grand-Am series (5.0 modular V8's deveoped with Robert Yates Racing) with the DP Prototypes.

Ford Powered! (6.0 OHV V8) If memory serves me the engine is based on the 358cu in NASCAR block.

No need to be sorry.

I meant the "Ford Powered!" in a good way, not in a negative way towards you! I'm sorry if you felt like I was trying to be an AZZ.

No, no, I know what Powered mean, I just read this topic so quickly that I didn't saw "powered" part.

Anyway, the car looks great.

By the way, if this car qualified 28th out of 48 cars, does anyone know who got first 3 places?

They still using the Robert Yates V8s for those, or did they switch to the in-house V8 they cooked up for the roadster?

It is a French team (Elan) that is running the 'Batmobile' . So I am not sure, but I think they, Elan, builds the motors. (The actual engine designation is Elan, not Ford). But I would assume the parts would come from RYR.
