Maybe it's different in Iowa, but when I see one in CA (which is probably 1/4 cars on the road here) they are covered with liberal nut bumper stickers, going 10mph under the speed limit in the left lane (or 90mph, it's either one or the other) and their owners act like they are God'a gift to earth. I cannot stand them. And I will gladly pay more to use more fuel, to not be in one. I love revving in neutral at them too, to their disgust. They inspire rage in me, that I never knew I had.

Now that's when I drive it... since the wife drives it 90% of the time, I can't speak for her... But she hates liberals too, if that's an indication.

So please don't drive a Prius off the cliff (at least not ours)

hehe...

glad you had a laugh. I realize how stirred up I was based on how many spelling and grammar mistakes I made (I hate doing that). You're spared, but about your wife saying it's her dream car....

My mom just bought a sonata. I fought like hell to get her into a fusion, but alas, in the end the decision was hers

Eh, I like the Kia Optima more. That's a hot looking sedan.

Oh btw, I remembered a good experience I had with a Prius. My buddy used to work at Toyota, so he got new cars diet cheap. He had a lifted Tacoma for a while and gas was killing him driving to work, so he did the unimaginable and bought a Prius. He dropped it on coilovers, Volk wheels, dark tint etc and I'm not gonna lie, it actually looked pretty trick. And it rode/handled really nice. He drove the **** out of it, probably still getting 40mpg though
