Imported from Detroit

A very cool ad, regardless of the car.

Chrysler 200

Was fine till they showed that poser motard in it. Would have been better if they showed an actual dude that worked on the car instead of that clown.

Would be better if it were a different car, and if Eminem actually did some real work to help Detroit other than just be rich in Detroit. Hey, Marshall, how about buying some of the decrepit old buildings downtown and renovating them?

I liked the ad but Eminem seemed out of place.

Hmmmm... reminds me of when GM used Kid Rock and "American Bad ***" to intro the ZR1 , gotta be from Michigan to "get it".

I actually really liked the AD. Eminem has a lot of songs that hit the heart, but yes some songs are just plain dumb. But being from Detriot and Eminem is known as a local Detriot native, I think he fit right in. It was good in my book.

Right. I'm pretty sure I've never heard any of his songs, but nevertheless it fits 'local boy done good'. I like it! And it fits Chrysler's recent ad campaigns that use 'how great our Country is' as a backdrop.

The ad hit a nerve because although the US is great for all its tech advances the last several decades, the old time craftsmanship from steel to auto's to the trades, etc., were and ARE proof that America built the world. Reflecting on our great 'smokestack' cities of the midwest to east is important because they played such a vital role in the foundation of our economy and standard of living.

And if our politico's ever stop selling our Country out by hamstringing our companies with over the top regulations, and tax incentives that send jobs overseas, the jobs and standard of living for the hard working middle class will return to the USA! We gotta keep the pressure on 'em!!

GOnna bring this back up. I love the commercial. I feel it says more about the city itself while the car is 2nd on the agenda. Be proud to be "imported from detroit"

Eminem is great. I like him and him music. He was perfect for the commercial as was Kevin Yon who was doing the voice over. Speaks volumes for american determination and that no matter how hard we fall, we'll be back.
