I agree, the Challenger concept is a quality nod to the original.

But it is a concept. You might want to wait for the production version before you commit your heart and soul to it.

Things have a way of changing some between concept and final sheetmetal (or carbon fiber, or fiberglass, or whatever they try next.)

We'll save all of the bandwagon jumpers a nice warm seat back here.

It's good to see the 1970's Dodge Challenger style. Those were cool cars when I was 17. Lets hope it performs as well as it looks. Has it is just a concept I would keep youir saddle on your mustang until you see the Challenger move a few times in the corral.

I have always been a big Dodge fan, I've always said, If i couldn't get my hands on a Ford, I'd buy a Dodge. I love the new challenger, i think its alot nicer then the 05 mustang in many ways, and that new Hemi is incredible, the SRT version with the 6.1 that we know they'll make if they do build the challenger would be wicked. I do like the challenger and Dodge in general alot, but I'll always be a Ford Fan and Ford will continue to consume my life

Why?, they'll have a nice, big, comfortable back seat in that challenger, one that they can access through the rear two doors of the procuction model!

If DC produces it and then offers a T/A model,
the Saleen would be for sale.

I always liked Mopar muscle, my favorite car is 1968 Dodge Charger 440, but I would never buy anything 4-cyl or V6 from Chrysler. I had enough problems with my 1997 Dodge Intrepid 3.5 which was top Intrepid offered in 1997.

funny thing you mention because my uncle had dodge stratus's from 1996-2002 as company cars and everyone was excellent except for the latest one, that one was junk and all it did was break, i think it depends on the car itself, i think like humans each one is different.

Mine was and still is really bad, every few months we have to take it to mechanic. But since my dad is truck driver and he doesn't drive Intrepid much, we kept it for now. Its still cheaper than paying monthly payments for newer car.

I have liked the challenger ever since I saw that concept. I'm starting to like alot of dodge cars, first was the srt10 viper, then the srt8 charger, and know I like this car. But no mater what I will always be a Ford guy :worship: .

How do you think that taillight is intended to work? I'd expect the surrounding outside area that looks dark to light up red, and I guess the middle bar to be solid... the thing is it seems to be red plastic..

Couldn't you see this baby in ultra-dark purple or midnight blue? And I guess they'd have to do that chartreuse yellow with flat black stripe accents too..
