The commercial alone made me want one. <3
I keep an open mind I guess, I like being the underdog. A few bucks can make a slow hatchback pretty dang fast

It's also not slow at all. 160 hp & 2,500 lbs - and because of its size, I guarantee you its gonna outrun much more powerful cars in city driving.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with cars like Fiat 500 - everybody loves it outside the USA. But for some reason, the USA is the only country where a 5'1, 100 lb single woman needs a 6,000 lbs SUV with a V8 engine that gets 10 mpg. Anything smaller than that is ... well, stupid.
I think Fiat should lower the price to under $20,000 - then I would definitely buy one.
Because it's such a cool car.

One of my friends just recently got a 500 Abarth. It sounds amazing. One of the better sounding cars out there from the factory. It DOES NOT sound like a little 1.8L or whatever it is. Much, much more beastly. Pretty cool car.
I'll say I would not own one as an only car, but I certainly wouldn't mind owning one at all as long as I still had a power car like my 5.0 to drive when I wanted.

Its just the right size for city driving. It's not small a small car at all, there's plenty of space, I had not problems fitting into one.

Not everybody lives in a city, or even drives in a city. And it may not be a small car to someone who lives in a jam packed European city, but its a tiny little thing for someone who lives in rural USA and has kids with stuff to haul around, and can't get everything they need in a 5 mile radius. Or even a 50 mile radius for that matter.
