Hyundai 5.0: What Mustang guys think of this new development?

New Hyundai Genesis 5.0 liter V8 in the sedan. 429 HP. I am just wondering what you guys think. They even have a familiar looking 5.0 badge!

I think they have to redesign the car before they can put it in. I read in many places that the engine bay in the coupe doesn't have enough room for the V8

and they DI their 3.8 V6 so it has 333 now. That'll be sweet in the coupe!

They are stepping their game up, but it's not a pony car, it can have 600hp stock and I still wouldn't choose it over a mustang.

The mustangs 412 is underrated and this engine is already employing direct injection. give the coupe a good looking facelift and this engine and it would be a very nice car.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hyundai does just that. Only thing is, it will be pricey considering what a loaded Genesis coupe stickers at.

The Korean auto manufactures have made tremendous strides in recent years. Hopefully this will keep the American Companies always investing in improving their products.
