How does explaining how useless the features on the ridgeline make him bitter? He's right about it being pointless to have a trunk in the bed of the truck since there is plenty of room as it is without it. Just a gimmick to make people buy it. A little comaprison for you is the fact all auto makers advertise 4 wheel disc brakes. Now do street cars actually need all 4 wheels to have disc brakes as opposed to having rear drum brakes? The answer is no but it is a gimmick they use.

You don't have to use the trunk if you don't want to. Forget that its there, just use truck's bed.

Well, I for one would like that feature in my wifes F-150. yes, the truck bed is useful for most everything, however there are insances where having a place to lock something in would be helpful (that isn't in the cabin).

I don't see how that itself is gimmicky.

I agree, I also would like trunk on my F-150.

I would get a spray in bed liner, a hard tonneau, and the cargo cage extender for an F150 Crew. With the new Avalanche(which looks darn good over the old poop), and the Sport Trac will tighten the noose around the ridgeline to be something just for Honda people.

That's good idea, but I like to keep open bed since I'm using it often. Trunk in trucks bed would be really nice.

It's just stupid. A trunk in a truck bed to me is pointless.

i think the trunk under bed was a fantastic idea..i think all pickups should have one.

Why pointless? Would you buy your Escape if instead of trunk it had trucks bed?

A hard Tonnaue is nice and all, but if you need to haul anything of anysize they are a complete hassle to take on and off. A trunk in the bed is perfect for storing things you may not want left in the bed for whatever reason.

Unless you've had a pickup, it'd be pointless to talk to you about it, though.

How do you know, drivin one?

They are not even in the same legue as a f150. But if you got a family and want a comfortable, high quality, well built vehicle that you can use for camping, taking the quads out or even taking trips in, it's a nice vehicle. You wont be lugging concrete in it, or towing a 5th wheel, but for most of the things an urbanite might want a truck for it will suffice.

The design is different and not for everyone. But I see alot of them on the road.

Kinda silly to be so brand bias you disregard anything else.
