I find it similar to the H2 in all of its tonka toy truck glory. The trunk in the bed is sweet, genius idea, perfect solution to that whole secure item in a pick-up truck issue without covering it up and making it impractical. But its UGLY. I deffinitely think it looks more like an avalanch than a sport track. Sport Track is significantly smaller too, is it not?

Yech. Stick to what you know, Honda, and leave the pickup trucks to Americans!

It reminds me of the Chevy Avalanche and Honda Element having a child.

Somebody should kill it quick!

You may not wanna hear this, but imports are taking over the market. They won cars wars, and now they are planing to take over the trucks market. 20 years ago noone could compare imports vs Big 3 because domestic cars were so much better. But now even without rebates and 0% interest rates imports easily outsell domestic cars.

Japanese are now switching to trucks. Honda, Toyota, and Nissan have trucks, and there will be Mitsubishi truck soon. They won't take over market anytime soon but its gonna happen.

The day the Honda Ridgeline becomes the #1 seller on the market is the day I torch my mustang.

I'm just kidding about the torching part.

Japanese manufacturers aren't really "switching" to trucks. They've been making compact and mid-size trucks for two decades now--and American vehicles are still extremely competitive in that market. Now they're trying to get a piece of the full-size market, and it's not happening. Toyota's Tundra is barely competitive and Nissan's Titan is a slow-selling dud. The Ridgeline doesn't have a chance w/o a V8 in the lineup, especially with such a high MSRP.

I didn't said its gonna happen overnight. I did say its not gonna happen anytime soon, but it will happen. In the next 20 years or so.

Actually I beg to differ Red Star. The Big 3 should have learned from the Car debacle. They will take some marketshare, but not do what they did in the car market.

Mitsubishi already have a truck. Due to the states in a year as far as I know. The model shown here is the Warrior with the Truckman bed cover

My family and I have been loyal Honda buyers since 1987 and I have to say the Ridgeline is the biggest mistake Honda has made yet! My husband and I saw one for the first time earliest this month at the NYC auto show...man is it ugly! And what were they thinking with the interior?! I probably can't say much since I am guilty of purchasing an Element a couple of years ago when they first came out. But the Ridgeline, by far, is the ugliest thing on the road...its what my husband calls "Jappy Scrap"! Hopefully Honda comes to it's senses and sticks with what they're good at...cars and SUV's! (And yes honey, the Element is NOT a truck...I get it!)
