Always with the negative waves. GM has confirmed so much of what I've stated they may as well just simplify their format to a simple 'what he said'.

There is truth in everything you state above, but IMO there is still more to it. CTS, Mustang, and 300 have all done so well because they are uniquely American in concept and execution and not jut because they haven't had any serious competition ( CTS excepted as it has obviously stiff competition from Europe and Asia) And I agree about the reputation of the Accord and Camry hurting here, but then I think that provides even more of an argument for the notion that GM and Ford have to do something truly different to succeed here in a reasonable amount of time.
