Undisguised Camaro in the US
here a topic on it with some more white pics. I still need to see it close up to decide.

Tail looks like something out of the old Corvette parts bin.
Front is just not exciting. Better than the tail though.
Those pictures are still of preproduction prototypes that are using makeshift headlamps. The real ones are yet to be revealed. If you look closely, they will be single roundish units simlar to the concept car that make up the whole area that the prototype bezels fill.
I always wondered if that was their intended plan to go with those lights, but because NO one likes them..and I mean no one...
They are going back to the concept style
If they are infact glue on radio shack lights, I can imagine the bill from radio shack.
EVERY mule/prototype has them.
That's a lot of crappy lights.

Anyway, all of GM's prototypes of late have been using make-do headlamps until rght before they are released for production. The new Malibu also used four "AutoZone" headlamps on it's running prototypes and no one knew what they were actualy going to look like until GM released the press photos...
Agreed. I'm not convinced those clustered headlights were originally intended to be temporary. I think enough people griped about them that GM decided to toss them and claim they were a "prototype only" kind of thing.
There should be some spy photos soon of the real production headlights. The focus group met again and got to drive and look at some of the more finalized result. They say they saw the production headlights and said they were impressed with them but they couldn't take photos this time so the rest of us hasn't seen them yet.
GM is in such financial trouble its amazing they have the money to get this car launched. I can understand why they need to save every penny they can right now. I hate to see a MotorCity Big 3 having this much trouble financially. Competition is good for Mustang
