I wasn't complaining; I was just saying ...

It might get 78 mpg (which I highly doubt, because even the most economical cars in the world, such as Volkswagen's BlueMotion 1.4L diesels, can barely go over 80 mpg and this a V8 super-car) if you drive 15 mph using the electric motor alone, but not if you're using all 800 hp (I read somewhere that the actual power will be around 580 hp ...).
Not that anybody care about the fuel economy on a half a million dollars Porsche ...

If the C7 looks genuinely as horrible as the renders posted in the thread about it on this site, I think Ford doesn't have to steal any thunder. Then again, maybe Ford should anticipate the thunder of the ex-Corvette faithful beating a path to either SRT or Ford's doorstep.

A Ford GT successor with a hybrid powertrain would be nice as not only Porsche, but Jaguar and Honda/Acura are getting into the arena as well. Doesn't Kepler's supercar already use a modified version of Ford's Ecoboost V6?
