Frustration Drives?

I was just curious, does anyone besides me just go out for a long drive when you get frustrated or angry, like I did the other night? Soemthig about just being in control I guess...

Yeah, I've done that in the past, mainly during my college years. I haven't done it lately though.

Yes. Unfortunately they also usually involve high speeds and recklessness on my part. Its not just about control, its about escape

Not really. Sometimes, but not often.

Try to avoid it whenever possible. Makes it easier to start road raging = how I crashed my last car. =(
Prefer trying to take it out via some video gaming action, walking it off, or some other physical activity (which does not involve hurting self or others). Sorry to sound preachy.

I used to, but not so much anymore. I tended to take some relaxing backroads and just enjoy being by myself. But now with having a wife I tend to talk to her and calm down.

Whatever you choose to do to release tension as long as it does not pose any risk to yourself or others is pretty much healthy.

That's funny, I drive the relaxing backroads to get away from the wife.

yeah, sometimes i just think of my stang sitting in the driveway and i feel the urge to take it out for a spin. i wish i could see my car while i drive
i love seeing other mustangs on the road. they're probably one of the best looking cars out there
i cruise out of frustration sometimes, but i don't ever drive recklessly. i drive to relax not to release aggression.

To combat the ill effects of a bad day:

There is nothing like dropping the top, turning off the radio, leaving the cell phone at home, and taking my Pony out for a cruise!

That usually turns the worst days into something manageable. A good launch from a stoplight up to triple digits NEVER fails to put a big smile on my face!!

I do it. I don't drive fast or anything. I just take my time and enjoy the ride. Windows down and the music on.
