Since the 2008 Ford Falcon will get the Australian Ford Falcon's chassis, won't the Mercury Grand Marquis get the same chassis?
Won't they drop the Crown Victoria and Grand Marquis names and replace them with the Falcon and Marauder?

This car would give the new "Charger" a run for its money. Ford needs something like this in its Ford and Mercury lineup.
I grew up with the storied MoPar nameplates, but I would buy something like this in a split second over the Daimlerized "Charger".
