Finally got a new(ish) car :)
I finally got a car that I'm proud to call my own! I financed it, I pay for it's insurance in my name, IT'S MINE! ![Banana](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/banana.gif)
Behold my 2006 MX-5 Miata, 5-speed, 50,500 miles. I love her and named her Mandy. I've driven a 2004 Volvo S80 for the last 2 years, and this is literally night and day. I got plans for this little car![Thumb](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/thumb.gif)
Anyway I wanted to share it with you guys. It's no Datsun 240Z but its a start![Nanadance](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/nanadance.gif)
Bring on the autocross events and HPDE's (when i get some extra dollars!)

Yep. The 5-Speed was standard in the base model. A six speed was available for the higher-end models. I picked the 5-speed because it's more competitive at most autocross events, and I figured it would be easier to drive around town.

I forgot to mention that Grassroots Motorsports magazine will be using my car for a comparison test later this month! A forum member on Miata.net mentioned that they were looking for a 2006-2009 Miata that was nice, and stock. I inquired and he gave me their contact info, and the rest is history.
I've had the car less than a month and it might be in a magazine!![Banana](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/banana.gif)
I just hope they give us a free subscription of Grassroots for the trouble
