Whoa! I hope that's no for real. Faaaaaaaaar too "busy" and the rear window is all wrong.

This is more like I'd want to look.........y'know, like a Corvette!

Dear Chevrolet,

Sometimes in life you have to give the people what they want. And right now the people want a split window Vette to remind them of the '63 Vette they couldn't afford then and they could never afford now. It doesn't mean you are moving backwards, it just means you are carrying your past with you into the future. Give the people what they want. Who knows. They may actually buy some of your cars for a change.

Sincerely,

Don Gary

P.S. Enough with the Cavalier steering wheel and interior. WTF! The Koreans put better interiors in their Kias!

I'm all for advancing the Corvette design, but the above render just isn't that great looking. Kind of a pastiche of various existing styling themes, European and American, that don't really cohere into a singular design.

Not awful, really, but neither is it a Corvette, even a new, more advanced one.

Hopefully this is just a dead fish to throw everyone off the scent.

If they'd done the Sideswipe style rendition I'd buy it in a heartbeat (no pun intended really). If this is the actual next gen vette guess it looks like the first vette I'll ever buy will be a used C6 (Z06 of course).

Looks like a Cadillac Corvette instead of a Chevy one, as if they took that Cadillac edgy styling and applied it liberally.

Whatever, since the C6 came out I've not really cared about 'vettes anyway.

/Corvettes deserve flipping headlamps and decently shaped rears.

"Transformational" advancements?

Unsubtle hint that's it'll take inspiration from this?
