E85
do you have something against filthy coal
I'm swapping next week, ordering the DiabloPredator with an E85 tune from rune85.com
the only company to offer a performance tune for E85 and they have hundreds of vettes and stangs already on the road.

OK!!
So I'm giving this another shot. Another station is selling E85 near me at MUCH lower prices than the other one. So Here's the deal...
When i filled up, I had gone 482 miles....my tank took 17 gallons....=28.35 mpg
87 octane was 3.76 a gallon.
E-85 was 2.99 a gallon.
E85 was 20.47% cheaper than gas. So as long as I get 80% the mpg I was getting with gas, I will break even. Every mile after that is saving money... I figure my trip odometer goal is 383 miles...thats as long as I only use 17 gallons to do it. So...ITS ON!!!

Hey Guys, I spoke to the folks at Flex Fuel US, (http://flexfuelus.com/F80101_2), who quoted me $1100 for their EPA certified 4.6L V8 kit they made for a Roush Mustangs. Apparently Ford will honor warranties if it installed by AAMCO techs who've been trained to do it.

Well guys don't know about you but I'm getting my baby ready for winter... I recommend switching back to gas and run a good few gallons through the fuel system so as not to let that ethanol sit around in your lines as crystallization "could" (but probably will not) occur.
When I used to run the TAFC cars we used to blow the lines out after every race and blow through WD40 to prevent crystallization but being as E85 has gas anyway there should not be any problems but don"t leave a tank of it sitting in your cars over the hibernation months just in case.
