Uh, life here is still pretty darn good...

 

I've been in Europe for the past 3 weeks and I'm not so sure anymore.

Here in Serbia people are so relaxed and happy all the time. They don't have much, but it seems to me that they don't care because there are other things in life other than money.

 

i work in pasadena and just received an email from the owner of Pasadena Ford, they're closing their doors 8/15!! this really sux since they're close to work and I can have my car looked at while im at work and their service has been excellent, its tough trying to find a great dealership and service department.

 

Hey, at least they sent you a letter letting you know. Wouldnt you have been surprised if one day you took your car to drop it off and found them closed. Thats kinda whats been happening in this area. From what I understand, when the Nissan dealer called, they were still taking cars in for service appointments that morning. People started getting calls at 10:00 telling them they had to come pick up their cars or they wouldnt be able to get them until sometime the following week.

 

And you gotta love their infomercials!!!

 

We've had several in the area go under or be consumed by something else (like a TOYota dealer) and shut down. Some places that were like icons in the Ford world have disappeared. It's sad, and honestly if you really think about it, if Ford had 3 or 4 small car products in those showrooms, they'd probably still be standing today.

 

Those friggin commercials drive me nuts...two disgustingly fat loud mouths screamin "they know cars". I'm guessing they know cheeseburgers and pizza's more than they know cars. Then they have the Saturday shows with the two young trashy skank girls...I would usually dig that but I dislike that dealer and anything related to it immensely.
