Arin, a lot of people in the Berks county area don't use turn signals at all. You can come to a 4 way stop and they won't even use them. Hardly anyone uses them to change lanes on the highway and it really catches you off guard sometimes. You have to be VERY defensive around here. The problem is the police don't seem to enforce it at all around here, thus only about say 15 to 20 percent of the people here use them at all.

I was brought upt to use them at all times. I still use them to turn into a parking space . But thats just the way I was taught to drive.

Now when you cross the line into Lehigh county (where I used to live), its like a totally different world. 80% or more people do use their signals all the time. The reason being that the police in that region heavily enforce using signals and are very ****.

I used to work at a Dollar Tree store when I was in HS and my buddy who worked there lived in Berks. He came in one day and was furious. He had gotten a ticket. I thought it was for speeding but he said "No, I got it for not using my signal to turn left!"

 

Here (Raleigh) it's slow drivers. They drive me crazy. I'm just trying to go the speed limit and there's some clueless nitwit in the passing lane doing 10 under.
