Its got a lot more angles and hard edges. In one of the backside shots, I almost see caddy in the way the angles are cut.

You can see the running theme of the stingray throught the vehicle. Look at the steering wheel and the rear end. Same shapes.

It's not perfect, but I like a lot of the shapes/edges more than what I don't like.
Find it better/meaner/more aggressive looking than the c5/c6.

LOTS of potential in this car.
BIG fan of the tech in this car.
I can only hope the next gen Mustang has the same type of gadgets (upgraded track apps and completely user custom gauges/clusters/screens.

I think GM was going with QNX as an OS for their vehicles. Great choice!
From a modern/exotic design standpoint this new Stingray can make the others look outdated.

they should definitely go angular to sorta match the taillights.

I'm a huge fan of this design.

I wish the a-pillars and rear end were painted body color (Knight the last rendering looks best to me, thanks for posting).

Those are minor quibbles with a design that really does it for me though. Looking forward to seeing the performance numbers on the Z51 and Z06.

I like the design so much I'm actually hoping to find out something I really don't like about it to get rid of this itch I'm starting to get...

Elsewhere somebody colored in the A-pillar and IMO it created a substantial improvement in the appearence of the C7, well at least for the picture.

Also I think if the stern were a bit more organic... err round or whatever it would be more pleasing to my eye.

They have to leave some styling improvements they can make on the Z06 and or ZR1 model. So it is expected the base car would leave some on the table.

More thoughts on the stingray
Just noodling out some ideas over the promo photo. I may do this as a real render down the road.

Looks good, Doug, although, for me, it's the rear that needs all the work.

I like the painted A pillar, and the clamshell rear screen you've done. I'd love to see a much toned down rear end though..........something more akin the the C6!

I like it, but im seein kind of a gallardo/karma mix on that bumper. Even more foreign design cues lol
