That kid should say good-bye to his driver's license.

I was clocked at 145 in the stang and didn't get pulled over. Though it helps it was at a rural airport at 3am. We were calibrating the radar units, I swear!

He actually blamed it on not wanting to get yelled at for coming home late.

PAALLEAAASSEE! He had the hammer down, plain and simple.

hehe, obviously. But that kind of stuff doesnt fly with the cops too well. "Well officer, you see, I thought I had some carbon buildup in my cylinders. I decided it would be best to do it at night, when visibility is greatly increased."

Let's see this: the kid is 16, driving a Subaru Impreza late at night on an empty highway... and claiming he was trying to get home early. How gullible was that cop anyway?!

Lucky bastard! I got clocked doing 52 in a 50 last month and got fined for it...

Back in Switzerland, max. speed I reached (according to the tach though...) was a tiny notch over 270 KMH (probably 273 I'd say...so about 170 MPH) with my Ford Sierra Cosworth 4wd (though not stock...it had 270 hp instead of 220, thanks to a tune. Main thing responsible for the power gain was the turbocharger pressure raised from the stock 0.8 Bar to 1.1 Bar) on a highway (speed limit 120 KMH or 75 MPH).
I was young and late for a date with a stunning looking girl...(I didn't get caught by the cops...and I did get the girl at the end, we were bf and gf for a couple of years...eheheh...)...Not a very smart decision, but sometimes hormones push you to do things you normally wouldn't...

Sounds like a sweet stang, got any pics of it anywhere? Thats unbelievable though, 202mph on the roads. Mine used to get some pretty nasty shakes around 130mph.
