From re-organization?
It can't be from sales.
So what do they do to make money next...sell Jeep?
Is this just a shell game?

Interesting read. Their sales were down in areas where they were previously up, such as the Caliber, which is interesting considering the issues with fuel prices.

They seem to be positioned well from a structure standpoint, and are operating more efficeintly. The next move should be to improve quality their perception (Same goes for Ford & GM). If Chrysler would start using nicer materials in their cabins, the investment would pay nice dividens.

We bought a Caliber SRT4 recently. Nice car, roomy, practical, decent fuel economy, and fun to drive. My only complaints are that when I close the door, I get a hollow, cheap sound, which I fixed by installing dynomat. Plus the interior uses too much dark hard plastic. There's no excuse for this. If Honda can make a nice interior for the Civic, so can Chrysler.

"...(earnings before interest, depreciation and amortization, or EBIDA) of $1.1 billion in the first half of 2008, exceeding expectations set last year when the company "reorganized" (and cut production). Chrysler is private, and doesn't need to divulge such information..."

That says it all right there.
