Beautiful concept. If Chrysler does with this what they did with the Charger concept, I expect the production version to look something like a Camry.

I read that if they build it it would compete price wise with the Vette, and have 425hp.

http://www.seriouswheels.com/top-2005-Chry...wer-Concept.htm

It uses the Viper's chassis with a 6.1l HEMI V-8.

from Car & Driver...

"...Brian Nielander, head doodler on the ME Four-Twelve, who again produced the winning exterior concept."

It has styling cues from the Chrysler Crossfire concept, the ME Four-Twelve, and the Aston Martin DB9.

Looks good. Not, OMG WOW, but good. The proportions seem a little off too me -- that long hood and small cocpit, plus the heavy looking front just doesn't quite go together IMHO.

I am just happy there is talk of a vette competitor. Not that I don't like the vette, but it needs some competition.

The Firepower is pretty cool IMO. Looks like they are taking aThunderbird stance in that market range though instead of performance.

The Chrome Shelby looks pretty cool, almost like the invisible Aston Martin in Die Another Day. Probably weighs a ton though.

It would eat BMW 645Cis and MB CLK55 AMGs for breakfast if they built it.

Vote for the Chrysler Firepower at http://autoweek.com/
