Looks like the Acura TL that Acura just stopped making in 08. Figures Chevy would simply follow along. Seems like they will make more money on the spill-off from their competitors than when they were doing their own thing. It's actually a smart move until you look at price and build quality. They're screwed.
Also worth mentioning, this is effectively a Daewoo. The platform is global, and primarily designed in Europe, but this particular application is being designed by GM's South Korean arm formerly known to us all as Daewoo before GM took over. Take that for what you will, but given what I have seen from GM South Korea I don't hold out much hope that it can compare with global class standouts like the Honda Civic or Focus, both of which the Cruze will be competing with by the time it debuts.

I actually had some hope for this car until I read this.
I recently spent 4 weeks in Europe where I had a chance to see many "European Chevys" (actually Daewoos with a Chevy badge).
Those cars are horrible. Aveo is the only decent one.
