I'm rapidly approaching the demise of the front brake pads on my Mazda6 and I'm looking for some good recommendations. I can go with an OEM set for $85. The factory pads have been OK but I wouldn't mind a little better. I considered Porterfields but they're a little pricy. I've used Performance Friction CMs in the past but I always hated the dust and the last set I had (on my Taurus SHO) made some nasty grinding noises when coming to a slow stop. They might not do the same on my Mazda but I'd hate to spend the money and time and have them do it again so I'm looking for recommendations.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :worship:

Have you looked at EBC "green stuff" pads? I am looking at some, they are supposed to work really well.

I've heard of them but I don't know much about them. What info do you have?

EDIT: I just check into it and they don't make them for the Mazda6.
