BMW Z5?

I'd heard rumours that BMW might join forces with Toyota to produce a new sports car. The Toyota would be a new Supra, but I'd not figured what the BMW would be. Jalopnik are reporting it could be this, a Z5......replacing the Z4.

Got to say, that is STUNNING

Maybe its just me, but it seems collaboration between automakers is at an all time high. Which is awesome

I'm not huge on bimmers, but I really don't like the Z4 and this could be pretty cool. A supra would be pretty sweet to see again as well. Let's hope this car (these cars?) get produced

Ya, the Z4 needs to get axed, and it's a good time for the Supra to return, albeit I don't like the idea of a hybrid system integrated to it. That will make it a throwaway in five years due to the outrageous prices on hybrid replacement parts. Say, $15k for an inverter for example.
