The best car you have ever driven?

Needs to be more Astony
In regards to the 725hp Super Snake, You should hear the deafening whine of the Kenne Bell Supercharger, an insane sound that I dream about. The gas pedal might as well be a switch, you push your foot down at all and the car screams at you as it conjures up smoke from the previously solid tires.
Here is the exact car.

The best car I've driven was this:
A Lamborghini SV. It was my exes husbands car. I stopped by to visit them when I was in Vegas and her husband was showing me around the house, knew I loved cars from talking to his wife, so he brought me in the garage to show me this and his H1 hummer. After showing me the car, he tossed me the keys and told me to take it out and see what I thought. The sound of the engine starting was enough to .....well, it was exciting. Took it out for about an hour (per his instructions). Came back with a permagrin. Great car.
Three weeks later the Vegas heat started to take its toll on the car. He got caught in the high noon heat (107 he said) and his converters seized up on him. $25k later and two new converters, he traded the car in on a MB and a PT cruiser for his daughter. Sad.

A friend used to own a Scuro Blue (purple!) SV like that. Such an awesome, awesome car. It felt like you were strapped into an alcantara lined bullet! You could feel the howl of that engine through the seat, up your butt and enter your soul!
The only car that's felt as fast (at least to 100mph) is this........a Caterham R500 (as in 500bhp/tonne). Sitting inches from the floor and having no windscreen, literally takes your breath away.
This photo was taken just as we returned from a quick blast. I'm in the red t-shirt. See if you an lip read

Those R500's look like a blast to ride in/drive.
There's a guy in the next subdivision that has (what appears to be) a 427 Cobra. Even if it's a replica the thing sounds like a beast. I want one so bad. I'm hoping in the about 5 years I'll have one built for a summer toy.

If you ever get the chance, do it. We're going back to Vegas for my bachelor party early next year, and the plan is to rent a few more Italians and cruise with them. It's going to look like a Top Gear episode on the Vegas Strip if I have anything to say about it!

Like mdkid, I too have been to exotics racing in Vegas and have sampled the f430 as well as the 911 turbo. So I say, Porsche, Porsche, Porsche, Porsche. That my friends is why they have lotto tickets. A-Frickin'-Mazing!!! What a Car!!!

It was such an awesome experience! It was a hard choice to decide which two to drive, the 997 Turbo S (aka 911) was my next!

Probably an E-Type V12 vert. Perhaps not the fastest car in the world now, but the view down that sensuous hood with that V12 aria, pure bliss. So few cars can so meld raw sex appeal with such sophistication as the E-Type.
