The best car you have ever driven?

This one, even though its long gone (traded it in 09 for the GT500), it was the best handling car I've ever owned after installing a set of BFG KDW's and the FR3 suspension.
The Shelby does pretty good (albeit a bit more nose heavy) but I miss the days of hitting my favorite turn and being able to get a few more MPH out of it, hoping its mostly a function the tires preventing me from getting those last few MPH out of it as I find the Nitto 555's are mid pack at best in terms of performance.
On the bright side, those 555's were still good enough to fend off a third gen Trans Am that was trying to stay glued to my **** through that very same turn.

I've never driven a high end exotic. I decided long ago that I never would. I would be one of those people sitting around sad that I could never afford to own one. My best now is my 12 gt. I love this car. Minimal mods and it's a blast. I've heavily modded my other cars to have only an average car.

Jealous!
That's a beast of a car, wow.

I can't say it tops a lot of the ones posted here, but the B7 RS4 is definitely the best car I've driven so far. It was like the perfect combination of a Cobra and Subaru - AWD, V8, manual. If only they sold the Avant here. I almost bought an S4 Avant that had RS4 body and interior, along with it being supercharged, but it wasn't the color combo I wanted and the long term electronic issues with VAG cars scared me away.

Guess it's a matter of "timing". Had you asked back a few years, the answer would have been my 03 Mach I, when I traded out of my 05. Or a tad later when the Mach went to an 07 GT which was traded for an 09 BULLITT. Which is STILL tied for Best. The Bullitt for performance, and my 02 T-Bird Neiman Marcus for Style and Comfort. The pic to the left, has been (somewhat) of a disappointment (Only because I can not drive it for what it was designed to do)..and will become trade fodder IF and WHEN another BULLITT is ever released.

Best all around car I've ever driven is probably a friends Dads e46 M3 that my buddy and I drove down to the Jersey Shore a couple times. Great car.
Coolest car I've ever driven was a Dodge Viper. Just knowing that was was sitting behind a V-10 was cool. Hell of a car.
I will say that my 12 GT is impressive as far as all around performance and comfort. I had an 07 GT before this, and before that was an e92 328i coupe. The seats in the BMW were beyond uncomfortable, and the interior wasn't anything special and frankly some of the stuff peeled and cracked and it felt cheap. The mustang beats it out by far in my opinion. As far as performance it's not even fair with the 5.0 vs the 3.0 I-6. That's an obvious win for the mustang. The handling on the e92 was better with a little better braking feel as well but both of those are correctable if really necessary in this car. Overall I can honestly say the 2012 GT is the best car I've had so far. Definitely my favorite.
