No wonder the big three can't make any money on cars, they spend all their money on paying the workers outrageous salaries and bennies.

Put a Haliburton worker in there So, and autoworker makes $151K? Not bad. When Toy's costs reach a domestic maker's, they are outta here and off to Mexico. And what the hell does University Professors have anything to do with it?? I wonder who was trying to make an unclear and unexplained skewed point about it

They should not have grouped nissan toyota and honda together because i am sure that toyota is much higher then the other 2 and they being averaged together makes toyotas look less then it is. but that still is insane that the average wage is that high for any of them.

What are they counting under "Benefits"? It'd be interesting to see what portion of each total is salary/wages and what is benefits.

Yea but are they including the total legacy costs of workers already retired receiving benefits and dividing it by the the total currently active workers or what??
