Europe get diesels and overall quality of Euro Audi's is a lot better. I know many people in Europe who owned Audi and they were all very happy with the cars. I can't say same thing about owners in the USA.
"Deiter, dieses irgendjemandes vorangegangen für Amerika. Lassen Sie uns unglue die Ordnung Bits."
"Hey, Deiter, this one's headed for America. Let's unglue the trim bits."

Well, to my knowledge, Audi doesn't manufacture cars in North America - they all come out of Germany. So while there may be powertrain variations, I don't see how it's possible for overall quality to differ when everything is coming off the same assembly lines.
Last time I was in Serbia in 2005 I noticed many Audis on the streets, including many 1980s models. I can't say same thing about the USA.
I wasn't suggesting you are.
But what one person has heard second hand hardly qualifies as a scientific study. There's no way that the quality discrepancies could have been anything more than coincidence, because as I mentioned, all these cars come out of the same factories in Germany.
So I would simply aruge that some Audis have problems and some do not, no matter what part of the world you live in. You could probably talk to people in Eastern Europe and find a few that had problems with their cars, just as you could find people here who would swear by Audi reliability.

Its not just one person, many of them complained on quality of Volkswagen group (Volkswagen and Audi).
Just because car is good in Europe doesn't mean it will be good in the rest of the world. I mean, Yugo was crap in the USA, but I saw many of them in Serbia with very high mileage and many of them were 20-25 years old. My cousing in Serbia still has 1979 Yugo Scala 101 that he got brand new.

If the A8s (for example) going to different parts of the world all come out of the same factory, how can there be any difference between them, other than people's individual experiences. Perhaps regional perceptions differ; but I would argue it boils down to individual experiences.
Unless road and weather conditions lead to premature wear and breakdown issues in North America that aren't experienced in Europe.
