They are really struggling with their safety and reliability, this will be recall number 7 I believe for the year and a big one at that.

DETROIT (Reuters) - Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corp. is recalling 345,443 Sienna minivans in the United States because of defective seat belts that may not properly restrain passengers during a crash, U.S. regulators said.

The vehicles involved are from the 2004-2005 model years, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Separately, NHTSA said Mazda Motor Corp. is recalling 27,800 2004 model-year RX8 cars as cracks may occur in the ball joint socket due to improper forging of the lower control arm.

In severe driving conditions, the ball may separate from the socket and a loss of steering may occur, which could result in a crash, NHTSA said.

Don't worry Lalo its a relatively small amount of vehicles recalled for the RX-8 Better to have it fixed than have a problem down the road. I saw a blck one yesterday, very sleek

could be, but this all by itself will put all the familys who owns these vans into a bad situation, and could risk their lives.

It could always be worse. When I see a recall for cars bursting into flames I may have to retract that comment, but for now it stands.

Give me a couple days and I'll have my Father in laws turd....I mean tundra in flames He had to take it in recently because it was shifting really hard and not hitting the shift points correctly Thats twice now he's had to take it back in and he's a salesman so he needs a vehicle to make sales. Needless to say he's not a happy camper. I'll be in the position to sell him a new F-150 in a week now though...hehehe
