OK. I need new tires, and I live in an area where it rains and snows in the winter. I'm not a track guy and I use my car as a daily driver. Do any of you have experience with all season tires and have any recommendations?

I need to replace the BFG KDWS's (ultra high performance all season- follow that?) on my Probe GT. I like the tires but they are $200 Cdn each.

I think I'm going to go with BFGoodrich Traction T/A's which replaced the Control T/A's and are supposed to be even better in the rain/snow. People swear by the control t/a's. They are brand new tires at a great price. Tread design looks like it has a lot of bite. They are supposed to be very good compromise between performance and traction.

Check them out

(look, they even use a mustang rim)

You and I will both have to report back on how these tires perform. They may be a great replacement tire for the stock 17's to use all year/winter on the new stang as well.

BFG says they're on the 05?? Where?

Several months ago I read that they were going to come stock on the 2005 GT, but I can't remember where I read that. Doesn't look like it's going to happen, but we'll know for sure pretty soon.

Blems ?? [/b][/quote]
blems = blemishes (small cosmetic irregularities)

usually nothing that can be seen unless stared at. The tires are brand new and completely safe and sold for much cheaper.

This would be a good idea for you considering the fact that you won't be keeping the probe much longer, save some money for your next toy.
