Acura NSX Concept

I checking out the NAIAS and saw that Acura is looking to bring back the NSX. The Concept looks really good to me, but the design reminds me of the Audi R8. One article said it would be north of 100k, to rich for me. I'll pick one up when it's available on Forza.

I honestly think they need to step away from the nsx and make something new. Barely anyone is willing to pay over 100k for a Honda. Their best sales for a year on the nsx was like 23-28 cars. (Quoted from Jeremy clarkson, and he does make valid points about it)

FWIW, that latest concept is OK in my eyes, but nothing too special.

The original NSX was a milestone for supercars as it proved such cars could be reliable and easy to drive as well as exotic. Just about every supercar marque followed suit.

Japan 1991....kinda doubt the sold over a thousand in Japan. That would be 300,000,000+ dollars coming from Japan citizens....I don't think they had a economy that strong in the early 90's.

Not interested, at all. The original was so special, and if they had kept the nameplate alive with that philosphy it would be one of the great vehicles today. Instead they killled it and now they're trying to slap the name on an Acura to revive their luxury brand's flagging cachet. No Thanks.

Is this new NSX still going to be some hybrid powertrain all wheel drive thing?

I understand that the hybrid supercar is sort of the newest biggest thing right now, and AWD has proven itself capable in the supercar realm with lambos and GTR's and the R8 and 911 turbo, but I feel like Acura/Honda shouldn't call this car an NSX if it isn't true to the original NSX in concept.

love the original NSX and to this day, I still throw around the idea of picking up an early 2k model to mod and have fun with.

This new concept is nice, imo better executed than the LFA, but it lacks the "flair" of the original NSX.
