I'm only 14, but I've been a car fanatic for a while. After my grandfather passed away a few years back I ended up with a 1963 Galaxie fastback and a 390 V8, which goes to the Galaxie(Z-code is a 390). My uncle recently sold a Galaxie for a good amount of money, and a guy wants mine, and he'll give quite a bit of money to have it. Mine has sat in a field for about 30 years, but no rust has eaten through. I have a hood to replace the cruddy one on there now and the interior is not pretty. It is too much work for my uncle and I to finish before high school, because I wanted it to be my high school car. I am thinking about selling it because of the amount of money its worth and because i want a smaller car like a Mustang. Any suggestions?Im looking to buy a 69 or 70 Mustang with a Cleveland or a 71-73 with a Cleveland or anything bigger.

Picture is posted below but the quality of the pic isnt great.sorry!

Hey mate. Unless you are willing to put alot of work into that car then I'd get rid of it. A 69 would be a great alternative IMO. Or you could just save for a 2007

So you are saying it has sat in a field for 30 years and there is no frame rot?

That car looks to be 3-4 years of solid work, sell it if you can get a good price.

I looked at the frame...it a solid uni-body and as far as I can tell its rust free. I'm pretty sure I can get a good price, my uncle knows someone who'll give pretty good money for it.

My uncle had a 70 Mach1 it was black with a white stripe, and a white hood scoop I believe, the color combo was very rare(because of the scoops color). It had the Cleveland and it hauled! I want any mustang coupe or fastback from 65-73, but i'll comprimise for an 85-93 5.0, but I want to stick with a carb, not Fuel Injection. I hope I can get enough money from the Galaxie to afford a mustang!
