45th Anniversary Camaro???

In 2012MY the Camaro will have a 45th Anniversary Package

From 1967 to 2012 is 45 years... but the car stopped production in 2002 ...so the real 45th anniversary should be in 2020...eight years for now

Ohh They must be counted the years the new car went from concept to production...

Actually, 45th anniversary is correct. It's not the 45th annual Camaro; it's the 45th anniversary of the Camaro.

They can't help it. It's in Government Motor's bankruptcy mentality.
"Those years never happened!!"

(same goes for the Corvette. There was no '83 available to the general public.)

In the correct sense, anniversary=annual though sometimes people apply the term to units of less than a year, such as months.

Anyway, celebrating 45 years of the Camaro makes about as much sense as being married for 30 years, getting divorced, remarrying the same woman 10 years later and celebrating your 40th marriage anniversary.

Camaro 45th anniversary edition? The spy photos taken earlier suggest it may very well look like this: http://memimage.cardomain.com/ride_i...0795_large.jpg
Probably will include extras like a mullet wig in the trunk. I think Ford should release one at the same time too - make a Mustang that celebrates 45 years of being the car the Camaro just can't measure up to.
