2018 Jeep Trackhawk

Awesome, awesome, awesome!
I was waiting for Jeep to build something like this. Impressive machine.
Imagine pulling up to a stop light and beating 90%,(maybe more), of the vehicles out there from stop light to stop light?!? In an suv, no less.
Does mid 11's in the quarter mile as well. Impressive.

Love, love, love to have one... It is only $$$ right! Need to have one as my daily driver.

Boy he was giggling like a little girl in that review. Big old grin on his face. I think he liked it.

Another great review.

As you can see,........I've been doing some homework. My Dodge salesman has 4 on order and they will be here in late February. I only know because I emailed him. I want to check it out in person, sit in it and do a test drive. I would order one if I did buy one. I want it optioned and in the color that I want. He will let me know when they come in.
I like this vehicle and the Z06/Z07. These are the only 2 on my "list". I'm still waiting for the new GT500 as well, which should be another 3 weeks or so.

(The Z06/Z07 will replace the Roush and the Jeep would replace the Ram. The GT500 would replace the Roush as well, if I like it/can order how I want it/availability. Leaning a little more towards the Jeep as it would be like driving a Hellcat all year round. Best of both worlds. Stupid fast and daily driven.)

Yes,.....she is a beast!!!
Disregard the moron kids making the video. Skip to the 3 minute mark if you just want to view from outside the vehicle. Beast.

How long until I see one on the road with a lift kit, ultra-low profile tires, and chrome spinners?

It's just a matter of time. Search your heart; you know it to be truth.

I have been a Jeep GC fan for a long time. Really REALLY want one of these, or I would love to even have an SRT. Too much $$$. I have settled for a new daily driver, JGC Trailhawk, not Trackhawk. Replaced my 2004 JGC. So far I am on my 5th Jeep... Love em.

So I guess I will have to live through you Tony, keep it coming.

LOL
Thanks man. I'm definitely getting one if they work on getting me a good trade-in on my truck. Nothing positive yet. I wouldn't order until maybe late March, so I can have it for summer time fun. So we shall see.

******Quick question for you.
How awesome, or not so awesome is the awd on the Jeeps when being driven in the snow? I always thought they were 4X4, except for the Trackhawk and SRT8, but I was corrected and that are all awd and work incredibly well. I would love to hear an owners personal opinion.
This plays a pretty important part as well in me purchasing, but I've read nothing but great reviews on Jeeps in the snow. Even the SRT 8 Jeeps.
Thank you!!

The JGC are 4X4s, not AWD. But they are 4WD all the time. There is no 2WD option. The Jeep Grand Cherokee 4WD system is different than any other system out there. Great design IMHO. They are nearly unstoppable in the snow, mud, or sand compared to other systems. Never had an issue. Last year we had the year of Snowpocalypse. More snow than we have had for a very long time. Both my 2004 WJ and our 2012 WK2 went anywhere we wanted. The 2012 is an Overland with a 5.7 and has 20” looker tires (Goodyear Fortera) all season tires, not necessarily the best. But it still went anywhere we tried to take it with no issues. The WK2 build is amazing on slick roads. Every model seems to get better than the last. I am a believer. I would trust it to get me through with sensible driving.

Thank you for your reply/personal review. I appreciate it.

So, I was correct then. I thought they were all 4X4, except for the SRT at the time, but now including the Trackhawk. Someone posted that it has the most advanced 4X4 and awd system out there. I can believe it.
So,...we'll see how it goes. I'm going to check it out in person and test drive one when the Dodge dealership I go to gets one. They're getting 4 Trackhawks. I bet one is for the owner. lol I wouldn't order till late March/April anyways. Nothing in concrete yet as it all depends on well they treat me with my trade-in. They did good with my last truck. So, we'll see.
