2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat

But,...who knows what the dealer markups will be? Hopefully none.

It's funny, the Challenger's great styling tends to hide it's great size -- every time I walk up to one, I feel like I'm shrinking down to child sized :-)
It will be interesting how well the Challenger can put down and actually utilize its prodigious power. The primary constraint would simply be rear tire rubber on the tarmac -- basic physics of force and friction. Secondarily would be the role of the IRS to allow a broader performance envelope, over a wider range of road conditions and quality. The burley GT500 did pretty well with the primary aspect, a bit less so in the secondary, what with its high-unsprung-weight light axle.

**** thats fast. Hope ford steps it up on the gt500. Dodge belongs in the rear view mirror. I still think it looks way to big, the exterior does look nice sometimes though. But i couldnt live with that hideous interior yuck

Well we all have different opinions. The part that really bothers me is the space between the screen and the vent on the right. i personally love the new 2015 interior.
#68
That's a matter of opinion and choice. I find our MFT system works great in our cars . . . though I've only messed with the Dodge system briefly.

Well to be fair, I haven't played with MFT, so it don't know how bad it really is. My Electronics Package works just fine, it's just some menus are easier to navigate to on the Dodge system. My buddy has a 2013 Charger R/T - they have a lot of menus easily accessible on the outer portion of the screen (like a border) versus having to press a button or go 2-3 menus deep to access some settings.

Now if only they got rid of some the weight, that would be even quicker. But, they did add the supercharger, the twin intercoolers, the bigger brakes, etc., etc.

But,...I kind of like the way SRT has the interior set up as well as the controls.

Agreed...this is a good. I've heard rumours of a 'Cuda, although it'd feel awkward with the Plymouth marque out of the picture. And I've heard that Buick might be bringing back the GN, albiet a 4 door, which I assume might share the Chevrolet SS platform. Not sure about that, but whatever happens, it's all good.
It feels great to be excited about factory hot rods now and in the near future.

Let's put it into perspective,.....it beat the GT500 by .06 seconds clocked at the same speed. The HC was an automatic versus a 6 speed manual GT500. Let's put the manual and manual against each other. Maybe it's a tie, but I'm thinking the GT500 wins. (Depending on drivers as well.)
Keep it going.
