There's a reason why the Jaguar F-type sounds similar to a Mustang with aftermarket exhaust. The Jaguar F-Type uses the exact same 5.0L engine Ford uses on their Mustangs. They have the same engine. That's a fact. Ford supplies engines to Jaguar and Land Rover.

No . . . they are different engines. The 5.0 in the Jag is based on the AJ-V8 (which was used in the Lincoln LS and Thunderbird) . . .

But it's still a Ford engine which also contributes to the sound it makes. But I could be wrong. I've just read somewhere that Ford is supplying engines to Land Rover and Jaguar since 2007. So, I assumed the F-Type engine is from a Mustang since they're both 5.0L. XD Haha, sorry.
