Dear Ford: I'm sure you get the whole Camaro vs Mustang thing, and how it's natural for us Mustang owners to dish any new Camaro...But! So help me God,you better now screw up our beloved 2015 Mustang and make it look anywhere as bad as what GM just layed out! This new Camaro is just butt ugly, from the snow plough z28 front end to the prelude rear, any car lover can only be left with "what the hell were they thinking"...So Ford don't screw up ours!

And while your at it push the performance envelope and value equation so far out front that GM will be playing catch up for another 8 years. I may like the Corvette and Camaro but my heart belongs to the blue oval.

Is there a reason why the rear looks like the Honda Prelude?
More 69 Camaro-ish is what I'm seeing.

Some people on this forum started referring to the lower rear bumper flat black fascia piece on the '10-'12s as "the diaper" because it reminded them of a baby's full diaper hanging out back.

That term is now generalized in the case of the reference here to the Z/28.

Terrible analogy at that.

Bumper caps and exterior panels (with the exception of the green house - a structural issue I suppose) are relatively cheap to do, an interior refresh is a lot more expensive.

Ford certainly needed it with the 05-09 cars as the base interior was really bad, but it seems the F5 interior is enough to pass muster until the new car comes out in two or three years and probably not enough time to amortize the cost of redoing the interior especially if the next generation Mustang can put a sizable dent in Camaro sales.

Well I saw the Z28 today in NY and as much as I hate to say this it actually did look good! The interior still looked bad though. This is the first new gen camaro that has looked good IMO. Let me clarify that there ain't no way in hellll that I'd ever buy one though!

Wow, I wonder if it was a good increase across the rev range?

I suppose its a good thing that the pony car wars are generating engines like this but you have to wonder if its self destructive?

Does Ford respond with a 360 hp V6 or with 370 hp and what about the V8 cars? Will GM maintain a 100+ hp difference in power for the SS?
