That wouldn't be the first time GM bought a mustang for R&D they did the same thing in 05...

You'll get no Camaro-knocking from me. I think it's a fantastic looking machine with a fabulous engine. I'm still a Mustang-boy through and through, but I still love all American Muscle Cars. And if this keeps Team Mustang on their toes, then it's a very good thing

so safe to assume at least a 3950 curb weight? so 600hp to equal it, more to pass a gt500. im sure they are just using the lsa in it, not the ls9. unless i could be wrong, ls9 and a 76k price tag lol

 

So GM has apparently set a benchmark for the Z28.. It must be faster than a GT vert!

 

Camaro nameplate covered up... Oh like we cannot tell it's a Camaro without it!

 

IDK if GM would put int the LS9 from the ZR1 in the Camaro. But you would kinda have to have something in that power range to to beat out the GT500 in a straight line since it just weighs so much plus the additional weight of a supercharger. Its gonna be a fun race to watch though
