Yeah, Bob Lutz has gone on the record as stating that interior design and quality is one of GM's most important focuses right now.
From the look of things, he isn't kidding either. When you look at this, the new Buick Enclave, the Saturn Aura, the forthcoming - and thoroughly reworked - Cadillac CTS (which is promising a Lexus level interior) and the Tahoe and Yukon interiors, I would say that GM are finally serious about their turnaround.
And this is just a Malibu! Something for Hondoyota to think about!
Makes you wonder what the interior of the new Camaro will look like.
Ford needs to step up their game. While the 500 and Fusion interiors certainly aren't bad, they pale compared to this.
