What? No hating on Chevy? They announced their new campaign less than a year ago: we used to sell crap within the last 10 years, but we're trying harder now (paraphrased).

From: Vestavia Hills, Ala.
ASC Chevrolet SSR Blackbird 425
Roots Supercharged, 425-hp

Also, Chevy is supposed to have a 6.0L 390-hp 2005 SSR with a manual transmission.

PUSH?

AS IN.......

You will have to push it?

OR...........

GM is trying anything to 'push' up their sales of this overpriced non-demographic vehicle.

I find it pretty hilarious that all you ford guys are calling the 327 too small when mustangs use a 281 or a 289.

The engine and output is too small for the asking price.

True. As I said before this vehicle reminds me of the Prowler all over again.

Well who do you think would win? A 30K GT or a 45K SSR?

If I were to guess based on my #$%&@ sales experience, I'd say the SSR is made to get people on the lot. "Oh you like the SSR, well let me show you another POS..."

Sure, if the Impala, Malibu, Aveo, Monte Carlo, and Cavalier are what you call good, quality cars.

The only car I was hatin' on, though, was the SSR. It is one fugly beast.

And let's not forget this monstrosity soon to come out:

And look what you didn't mention, the Equinox, probably the best looking SUV Chevy has ever produced.

I don't know why they made it? It's underpowered and overweight. Car and Driver couldn't figure out why they spent money to put out another image car instead of throwing the money at development of a new Camaro. Why does GM need another vehicle with Halo like quality anyway? Isn't that what the Vette is for?
