Not bad.

That looks like the same hood on the VZ Monaro that Burningman found.

The rear valance looks much better.

Now if they could do something about the styling, I'd be worried about mustang sales.

Okay, with the extra holes in the hood it now looks more like the Sunfire then the Cavalier.

Either way, with the Cobra moving to what's likely 440hp +, Ford needs something in the 350hp -400hp range.

There is no competition here. Maybe in bragging rights, but even the '05 Mustang GT will outsell it, and will be considered the king of coupes in that price range.

I'm starting to see the resemblance to the Chevy Cobalt now.

The only thing you can compare the 05 Mustang to in the looks department is... well... a late-sixties Mustang.

Well, its definitley more aggresive, but is it better looking? I'm glad those scoops are optional because theres no way in heck I would order them.

If I was ordering a GTo I'd definitely spring for the AutoX body kit,

The funny thing is that for the enitre last year I knocked how plain the car looked, who hasn't?, and now I actually like the clean hood on this years car better. Can't satisfy us all I guess.

The problem is that it won't take long for the other Pontiac drivers to swtich to new hoods that look the same as this one! This car is a lose-lose battle anyway GM tries.

If they would have taken this years car and added three things I would buy one in a heartbeat, regardless of how "boring" it looks.. It really needed the new LS2 and the new duel exhaust setup. The car sounds really good as it is and could only get better. The other thing that GM is skimping out on is no HUD. If they could deliver this for 35K I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Tell you guys the truth, I've already seen 5 of these babies in used car lots(all Ford ) so there has got to be something wrong with them.

You know it kind of looks like a stretched Neon. I think the folks at Dodge should be a little upset.
