I have driven Convertibles since 1999 and had my 71 Cougar Convert for 23 years, and have never had any concerns.

I can put the top down for nine months of the year.
For all the points anyone can come up with for not buying a convertible, all you have to say is "maybe so, but the top does go down!"

For the $4,000 difference on the '05, I think it is worth it.
At some point in their life, everyone should own a convertible.

What is the weatherman calling for? I was down in Guelph for the weekend and it was still pretty cool in the mornings.

Have fun tomorrow. (I'm hoping to get "the call" this week sometime)

I agree with mstang.
I may be prejudice.

As for Regina Weather, my ride will be
shut down for 6 months in Oct.
Oct to May is 4x4 weather here.

I've had convertible sports cars since the mid 1960's, but went for a Coupe this time in the GT. I still love a vert on a warm summer evening, but not during the hot days with the burning sun we have had thelast few summers.

Besides, the Coupe is more reminiscent of the 60's Mustangs.

I just saw a Sonic Blue GT with white stripes last night on Spadina Ave. in Toronto. Only saw the back but it looked good. Very "In your face" however.
