Hey guys, I finally decided to get a 06 Mustang with the following specs:

Torch Red
V6
V6 Pony Package
Total MSRP = $23,999 + 1,595 + 100 + 1200 = $26,894+tx - $ 1000 recent grad rebate

I figured to pass on the Shaker given the bad reviews, I'll go aftermarket instead. Are there any interior upgrades worth adding?

Finally, how much lower can I expect to pay?

Do any of you have X-Plan pins to give away, or do you have friends at Ford? I live in Montreal.

Unless they changed for the 2006/2007 model year, the Shaker 500 comes standard, there's no option to delete it. Mine has actually worked fine. Granted I listen to the sweet motor sound most of the time

 

Strange, on the Ford.ca web site, under 'build and price' it says

Radio: Premium AM/FM Stereo w/Single CD/Clock (included)
Radio: Shaker 500 AM/FM Stereo w/In-Dash CDx6/MP3 $765

Keep in mind this is for the 2006 canadian V6 model.

 

The GT Premium comes with the Shaker 500 standard and the GT Deluxe comes with the AM/FM Stereo w/Single CD/Clock.

 

Premium/Deluxe dont exist in Canada. Its either GT or V6 coupe or vert.
